Project Synopsis
CvilleBioHub is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to strengthen the biotech industry in and around Charlottesville, Virginia. The biotech industry in the CvilleBioHub region is made up of over 75 companies that provide approximately 2,000 jobs and contribute $1.2 billion in total economic activity.
Realizing that their current website was simply brochure-ware, CvilleBioHub approached Storyware to create a new website that would further align with their mission.

One of the primary ways that CvilleBioHub helps the local biotech industry is through the marketing and promotion of job opportunities.
Using WordPress custom post types and the Gravity Forms plugin, Storyware created a career board where companies can post job opportunities that CvilleBioHub staff can review and publish.
In many cases, the CvilleBioHub website is providing job seekers with their first impression of the Charlottesville biotech community.
To ensure a positive user experience, candidates can apply for any job through the CvilleBioHub website and companies will receive their application via email.
Since these job seekers aren’t sent to another site to apply, they are more likely to browse and consume the other content on the website.
Keeping the job experience all within the CvilleBioHub website has resulted in a successful job resource for not only for CvilleBioHub, but all of Charlottesville.
