Coffee For Wellness
Launching an online store to fuel a new coffee business for Phil Mickelson and Dave Phillips.
Pro golfer Phil Mickelson and world-class performance coach Dave Philips spent years perfecting an infused coffee blend to improve performance, wellness, and longevity. Their recipe and friendship resulted in a new endeavor, Coffee For Wellness.
Phil and Dave did not plan on launching their new business during a global pandemic, but after some careful thought and adjustments, they leveraged digital to pull off an extremely successful launch. This required relying on several strong partners, including Storyware to create their eCommerce website.

The project began quickly with a coming soon website that had to be put together in a matter of weeks for Phil’s participation in The Match 2 with Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Tiger Woods.
If there is one thing we’ve learned during the Coronavirus outbreak, it’s that in order to be successful, you have to be nimble.

This was certainly true during the development of the eCommerce site. We expected to launch with one product. Thanks to Phil’s tremendous following and an advantageous PGA Tour schedule, we scrambled during the final round of the project to launch the site with pre-orders, subscriptions, and special promotions.
The site launched the week of the U.S. Open, one of golf’s four major events, to a captive audience. It was all possible thanks to the flexibility of WooCommerce, the eCommerce platform that we were able to extend to meet the new requirements.
