Matt joined Storyware in 2022 as Lead Web Developer to oversee our web projects and ensure development team success.

Prior to joining Storyware, Matt’s career had taken exciting turns, from being a student journalist at his alma mater, Mississippi State University, to becoming an instructor of Spanish at the same institution and, later, the University of Alabama. In 2016, he switched careers again to work as a web developer at a local agency near his hometown of Jackson, MS.

Matt loves learning new things and jumped at the opportunity to learn HTML in a journalism technology course in college. He slowly built upon that foundation over the years, while learning many aspects of web development from his brother, the computer geek of the family. Now, Matt is experienced in frontend and backend web development and loves to build with WordPress.

In his free time, Matt likes to work on hobby coding projects, eat catfish, read, and watch reruns of Seinfeld.
