Lydia Kellams
Digital Marketing Assistant

As a Digital Marketing Assistant, Lydia is focused on supporting Storyware’s marketing efforts. She is an undergraduate student in the Stan Richards School of Advertising & Public Relations at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a bachelor’s degree in advertising and a minor in business. She is passionate about social media marketing and wishes to gain extensive experience in the digital communications industry through her position at Storyware.

Lydia joined Storyware in the spring of 2020 as a summer marketing intern. Before joining Storyware, Lydia worked as the owner of Lydia’s Closet, a social media thrift store, where she managed an instagram page dedicated to the resale of gently used clothing. She also holds the positions of merchandise director, greek relations director, social chair, and legacy chair in her sorority at UT Austin and previously worked as a lifeguard for the City of Charlottesville, a busser at Duners Restaurant, and an intern at Sentara Martha Jefferson Medical Center.

In 2018, Lydia graduated summa cum laude from Monticello High School with a certificate from the Albemarle County Health and Medical Sciences Program. Since high school, Lydia has found her passion in the realm of communications and plans to pursue a future in this industry after she graduates from the University of Texas in the spring of 2022.

Lydia is a Charlottesville local who primarily lives in the heart of Austin, Texas for the duration of the school year. Outside of work you can find her hiking, watching TikToks, traveling, kayaking, tubing, playing soccer, sun tanning by the pool, taking photos and spending time with her boyfriend, best friends, and her family.
